The Louvre
The Louvre is both a historic building in Paris and is the world's most visited museum. It has always been a favorite across the globe. The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities

The National WWII Museum in New Orleans
The National Museum tells the grim realities of WWII, the way it was fought, the way it was won, and what it meant. The museum was founded in 2000 by two historians, Gordon H. "Nick" Mueller and Stephen Ambrose. Later it was designated as America's National WWII Museum by a 2004 act of Congress. Five pavilions hold historical displays, on-site renovation work, a historical dinner theater, and restaurants, among other things.
Pergamon Museum
The Pergamon, Germany's most visited museum, features reproductions of large ancient monuments such as the Pergamon Altar, Market Gate of Miletus, Babylon's Ishtar Gate, and the Mshatta Facade. Heinrich Schliemann discovered the archaeological site of Troy in the 19th century. Museum Island became the repository of these ancient relics and eventually the home of the Pergamon Museum.

The British Museum in London
The British Museum is the world's first national museum; it was founded by the parliament when 71,000 objects were passed onto King George II by Sir Hans Sloane for the nation's benefit after he died in 1753. The current Greek Revival-style structure, which includes the iconic copper-domed Reading Room, was designed by Sir Robert Smirke. The Rosetta Stone and the Elgin Marbles are now on display in the museum.
The Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses in Xi'an, China
The forces of Qin Shi Huang, China's first Emperor, are depicted in the ancient Chinese funeral art of terra-cotta statues at this tomb and museum. More than 8,000 warriors, 130 chariots on 520 horses, and 150 cavalry horses are thought to be buried in the mausoleum's three pits.
The Art Institute of Chicago
Over 300,000 pieces of art are on display at the Art Institute of Chicago, which includes the historic structure as well as the Renzo Piano-designed Modern Wing. Following the Great Fire of 1871, Chicago's authorities were dedicated to rebuilding and developing the city, which included an establishment of a museum and an art school.
