Apply olive oil on both sides. In a mixing bowl, mix the salt and black and white pepper. Before cooking, the rubbing mixture should be thoroughly applied to the steak on both sides.

Prepare a 375-degree oven by preheating the oven first. When the skillet is blazing hot, remove it and set it aside. Cook the steaks on each side for 2 to 3 minutes in a heated pan. Flip the meat onto its sides and sear the lard for 2-3 minutes. At least half an hour before cooking, take steaks from the freezer and remove the packaging.

Meat sold at a discount or promoted is "select ."The USDA defines "select grade" as being only a little over "edible" quality. Be prepared for less than stellar results if you purchase Select grade beef.

The choice quality will always be more expensive per pound, but it has always been worth it.

The best out of the three is, of course, Prime! Congratulations if your local grocer carries Prime quality. This will get you the best, juiciest, and most tender steak!
